Project objective: promote the implementation and providing of the rights of citizens to access public information in small towns of Ukraine

Implementing partners: Executive Committee of Ukrainka City Council, Association of Small Towns of Ukraine

Project participants: 20 small towns of Ukraine, who were selected on a competitive basis.

Activities:

• Creation web- portal of small towns of Ukraine, where each town will have its own page with public information and information of interest to potential investors and tourists;
• Training for representatives of municipalities participating towns (workshops on the development of the training program for the organization of work on access to public information, consulting support of law and local self-government experts);
• Implementation of communication activities (seminar on introduce new Law on access to public information, the final conference of the project to share experiences and useful skills);
• Organization public discussion of access to public information;
• Installation information box full of documents, forms for the services in municipalities of participating towns. Kiosks will provide Internet access.
